Beginner's Yoga Series: Twists, Forward Folds & Backbends • Sun, Nov 11 at 2:00PM Instructed by Jessica Rapp

Come start (or fine-tune) your yoga journey with Jess in this three-part yoga series! These beginner yoga workshops offer a safe, interactive, and hands-on way to learn the fundamental physical and philosophical principles of yoga. We will break down alignment of basic postures, learn proper breathing technique, discuss modifications for safety, and practice linking the poses together to flow. Expect lots of demonstration, questions and answer, individual attention, and opportunity for practice! You will leave feeling comfortable and confident attending a group yoga class at a studio or practicing on your own.

Oct. 7th
Learn the sequence breakdown of Sun Salutations A and B and the series of poses that encompass taking a vinyasa. Leave knowing proper alignment, breath pace, and modifications to move through these poses safely.

Nov. 11th
Dive a little bit deeper into your practice with exploration of twists, forward folds, and backbends. Practice safe alignment and modifications for the most common poses in each of these categories. Learn how these poses can also help you shift your energy and mood.
